With the second Fantasy Premier League Wildcard available, The Scout reviews the top targets to consider for the chip.
Christian Eriksen (TOT) £9.3m
The Tottenham Hotspur playmaker was one of FPL’s form players over the festive period.
Eriksen has scored in four of the last five Gameweeks, totalling 36 points in that period.
But despite that form, he sits in just 6.1 per cent of squads.
The Dane has been largely overlooked due to the output of team-mate Son Heung-min (£8.8m), who has four double-figure hauls in the last six Gameweeks.
However, Son is set to feature in the Asian Cup for South Korea after his Gameweek 22 encounter with Manchester United.
Depending on the progress of his nation in the tournament, Son could be out of domestic action until Gameweek 26.
That promotes Eriksen as a big-hitting alternative as Spurs prepare for a fine run of opponents.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have four home matches in the next six Gameweeks, as well as trips to Fulham and Burnley.
Eriksen has the form to profit from that schedule and emerge as a major differential in midfield.
