Richarlison's second-half strike handed Everton their first away win of the season as they beat Southampton 2-1.

Everton took the lead after four minutes, Tom Davies heading in at the back post after Mason Holgate had flicked on Gylfi Sigurdsson’s corner.

Cenk Tosun twice went close to doubling Everton’s lead as the Toffees dominated the opening half.

Half-time substitute Sofiane Boufal had an immediate impact for Southampton, crossing for Danny Ings to tap in on 50 minutes.

The decisive moment came in the 75th minute, with Djibril Sidibe crossing for Richarlison to finish.

Everton climb up to 13th with 14 points, while Southampton sit 19th with eight.
