Two second-half goals by John Fleck earned Sheffield United a 2-0 win over Aston Villa that moves them up to fifth place in the Premier League table.
The deadlock was broken five minutes into the second half, Fleck guiding John Lundstram's low cross past Tom Heaton.
Wesley and Jack Grealish missed chances to equalise for Villa before Fleck made it 2-0 after 73 minutes.
Fleck latched on to a flick from David McGoldrick before beating Heaton at his near post from a tight angle.
Villa were awarded a penalty after the VAR spotted a handball by John Egan, but Grealish smashed his penalty against the crossbar.
Consecutive Premier League victories for the first time since December 2006 take Sheffield United on to 25 points.
Villa lie 17th with 15 points.
