Son Heung-min's 90th-minute penalty earned Tottenham Hotspur a comeback 2-1 victory over Southampton to get interim head coach Ryan Mason off to a winning start.
Southampton started brightly, with Hugo Lloris denying Mohammed Salisu and Che Adams with a superb double-save.
The visitors went in front after 30 minutes through Danny Ings, whose glancing header from James Ward-Prowse's corner went in off a post.
Spurs were level on the hour mark after Gareth Bale curled a shot beyond Southampton goalkeeper Alex McCarthy.
The hosts remained on top and went ahead through Son, only for the goal to be overturned after a VAR review adjudged Lucas Moura to be offside and interfering with play.
Son was not to be denied though, converting from the spot after VAR found Moussa Djenepo's foul on Sergio Reguilon to have taken place inside the penalty area.
The win moves Spurs up to sixth with 53 points, two behind fourth-placed Chelsea having played a match more.
Southampton stay 14th on 36 points.
