Crystal Palace blew the title race wide open by holding leaders Manchester City to a goalless draw at Selhurst Park.
Man City had 74 per cent possession but could not find a way past the defence who also held them in a 2-0 loss in this season's reverse fixture.
Their best chance of the first half came on 26 minutes when Joao Cancelo smashed a long-range shot against a post and Aymeric Laporte missed an open goal on the rebound.
City stepped it up after the break, with Kevin De Bruyne also hitting the woodwork before Bernardo Silva was inches away from diverting Jack Grealish's cross into an empty net.
Palace mustered only one shot on target but they threatened on the break and nearly nicked a first Premier League double over City late on, with Odsonne Edouard and Conor Gallagher failing to take presentable chances.
City have 70 points, only four above Liverpool, having played a match more. Liverpool also have two more fixtures before Pep Guardiola's side are next in action.
Palace are 11th with 34 points.
