Brighton & Hove Albion have completed the signing of Leandro Trossard from Genk for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old winger has agreed a four-year contract and is the second signing for new Brighton head coach Graham Potter after the arrival of defender Matt Clarke from Portsmouth.
Trossard captained Genk to their fourth Belgian league title last season, scoring 14 goals and providing seven assists in 34 league appearances.
He added another eight goals and three assists as Genk reached the last 32 of the UEFA Europa League.
Trossard's first Brighton interview
"He's an attack-minded player who had a very impressive season last year in helping Genk win the league title," Potter told the club's official website.
"He was influential in the side's success last term and scored a lot of goals, as well as creating chances for others."
Trossard is a product of the Genk youth academy and has featured for Belgium at all youth age groups.
He could make his Premier League debut when Brighton travel to Watford on Saturday 10 August.
