1998: Aston Villa 3-2 Tottenham Hotspur

Aston Villa stayed top of the Premier League with this exciting victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

Dion Dublin's double fired Aston Villa into the lead, with two goals in four minutes, before his strike partner Stan Collymore made it 3-0.

Darren Anderton and Ramon Vega both scored after the break to set up a thrilling finish, but Villa held firm.

The result left Spurs in 14th place with 15 points, while Villa stayed top on 25 points, two clear of second-placed Arsenal.

2010: Arsenal 0-1 Newcastle United 

Newcastle United emerged with a shock victory from this encounter at Emirates Stadium thanks to Andy Carroll's first-half header. 

An error by Gunners goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski allowed Carroll to head into an empty net, securing Newcastle's first league success at Arsenal since December 2001.  

Cesc Fabregas and Theo Walcott both hit the woodwork for the hosts, before defender Laurent Koscielny was sent off.

The defeat saw Arsenal drop to third, with 20 points, while Newcastle United moved up from seventh to fifth, on 17 points.
