Brooks Lennon scored his third goal in four matches as Liverpool cruised to a 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town in the Premier League Cup.

Lennon, who scored in the Premier League International Cup against Porto in midweek, opened the scoring in the 25th minute after a great pass from captain Harry Wilson, who doubled the lead from the penalty spot in the 77th minute.

Cameron Brannagan put the seal on the victory with a late third from 25 yards, to give Liverpool their second successive win in Group G and Huddersfield their second defeat in a row.

Liverpool's next tie is at Leicester City on Saturday December 3 and Huddersfield travel to Ipswich Town on Monday December 5.
