A home encounter with Watford, who lie bottom of the table, boosts the chances of Jamie Vardy (£9.9m) remaining the most-selected captain in Gameweek 15 of Fantasy Premier League.

The top-scoring player in FPL, Vardy has been the No 1 armband pick for the last two Gameweeks.

He is in outstanding form as he prepares to face the Hornets, having provided eight goals, three assists and 64 points in Leicester City's last six fixtures.

Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah (both £12.2m) will be among Vardy's main rivals as Liverpool entertain Everton.

Mane has been the Reds' most explosive FPL player this term, with four sets of double-figure returns.

At home, Salah's 27 shots and 13 shots on target are both league-leading totals.

Gunners' strike duo

A visit from Brighton & Hove Albion also raises the potential of Arsenal pair Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£10.9m) and Alexandre Lacazette (£9.3m).

Aubameyang scored both the Gunners' goals in a 2-2 draw against Norwich City on Sunday.

But it is Lacazette who has been their most reliable player at Emirates Stadium in 2019/20.

He has scored or assisted in all five of his home appearances and in his last home match he scored twice, picking up 12 points.

Christian Pulisic (£7.5m) and Wilfried Zaha (£6.6m) offer mid-price midfield alternatives with attractive home fixtures.

Chelsea's Pulisic hosts Aston Villa after scoring five goals in the last five Gameweeks.

Zaha entertains AFC Bournemouth, having found the net against Liverpool and Burnley in Crystal Palace's last two fixtures.

Choose one of the champions?

Kevin De Bruyne (£10.2m) and Raheem Sterling (£11.9m) will also be in contention at Burnley.

The Manchester City duo were on the scoresheet at Newcastle United on Saturday.

De Bruyne's 16 key passes and 15 shots both rank among the top two players over the last four Gameweeks.

And Sterling has been a major goal threat on the road this season.

Away from home, his totals of 27 shots and 23 shots in the box are both more than any other player in FPL.

What the experts say

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily): Vardy at home against Watford. Look no further than that! He's the perfect captain with a lovely blend of strong form and a good fixture. This is my fourth consecutive week captaining him, which is unheard of for me.

Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily) Watford are in complete disarray right now, while Leicester have form, direction and are sitting pretty in second. I sense another Southampton-style walloping, so the armband is firmly on the Foxes' main man Vardy.

Holly Shand (@FFCommunity_): Leaving the armband on Vardy seems a no-brainer. He's scored in every match for the last two months and he's facing a struggling Watford side who have just parted company with their manager.

Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg): I can't imagine any Vardy owner is looking past him. Watford are sure to ship goals given their injured defence and dire situation.

Mark McGettigan (@FPLGeneral): Vardy will be my captain for the fourth Gameweek running.

Chuck Booth (@ChuckBoothSport): I'm in a tough spot not owning Vardy, so my captain will be Aubameyang. While there are still question marks about Arsenal as a whole, he's still dangerous with the ball at his feet and grabbed a brace at the weekend for his third return in the past four Gameweeks. He's hitting a nice patch of form and I'm hoping  it continues.

Ben McNair (@drbenmcnair): Even I might go with Vardy this week, up against a Watford side with injury troubles.

Paul Gee (@FPLPaulGee): I think I will be going with Vardy. He's scoring for fun now.
