Claudio Ranieri says Kasper Schmeichel might have a chance of recovering from a hand injury to feature against Manchester City.

The Leicester City goalkeeper has been missing since the start of November after fracturing a hand, but Ranieri, while considering Saturday’s match too early for Schmeichel, admitted he could be persuaded by the Dane to play.

“For me the possibility [to play against Manchester City] is no, but Kasper is a fighter” Ranieri told lcfc.com. "He could be [ready]."
