Arsenal v Stoke City

Arsenal came from behind to claim a 3-1 victory over Stoke City at Emirates Stadium.

It was a difficult start for Arsenal, who lost Shkodran Mustafi to injury on 25 minutes before Charlie Adam put the visitors in front with a penalty after Granit Xhaka’s foul on Joe Allen.

Hector Bellerin returned from injury in Mustafi’s place and crossed for Theo Walcott, who volleyed in the equaliser from close range on 42 minutes.

Mesut Ozil put Arsenal in front with a clever looping header over Stoke goalkeeper Lee Grant before Alex Iwobi slotted in after Alexis Sanchez’s surging run, leaving Arsene Wenger’s side above Chelsea on goals scored.
