Jake Cain's stoppage-time winner earned Liverpool a 2-1 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers which moved them up to fifth place in Premier League 2 Division 1.

Joseph Hardy put the Reds ahead on 57 minutes but Wolves equalised 15 minutes later when Chem Campbell converted from the penalty spot.

The decisive moment came in the second minute of stoppage time, 18-year-old Cain striking a half-volley into the corner from 20 yards.

Liverpool now have 26 points, nine behind leaders Chelsea, while Wolves remain bottom on 11 points.
