Everton are seeking back-to-back victories at the start of a Premier League campaign for the first time since 2012/13.

West Bromwich Albion are aiming to pick up their first points of the season after losing 3-0 to Leicester City in Matchweek 1.

Team news

Alex Iwobi has recovered from a knock and could make his first appearance of the season for Everton.

The Toffees, however, will be unable to call on the services of injured duo Mason Holgate (toe) and Jarrad Branthwaite (ankle).

Slaven Bilic will decide whether to hand Branislav Ivanovic and Conor Gallagher their West Brom debut at Goodison Park.

The duo signed this week, former Chelsea defender Ivanovic after leaving Zenit Saint Petersburg and current Blues' midfielder Gallagher on a season-long loan.

Did you know?

Everton have lost only one of their last 11 Premier League encounters with West Brom (W5 D5), with that defeat coming in February 2016 under Roberto Martinez.

Carlo Ancelotti is unbeaten against promoted clubs in the Premier League, after 15 such contests (W11 D4). It is the best such undefeated record in the history of the competition.

Against no team have West Brom kept more clean sheets in the Premier League than they have against Everton. They have had eight shutouts, the same as they have had against Sunderland.

The Baggies have not lost their first away match in any of their last six Premier League campaigns (W2 D4). Indeed, they have kept a clean sheet in their last five such encounters.
