The Scout's panel of experts give their verdict on who managers should captain ahead of the Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 15 deadline of 11:00 GMT on Saturday 26 December.
Geoff Dance (@GeoffreyDance)
Mohamed Salah (£12.5m) is the best captain for Gameweek 15, with attacking returns in all but two of his starts this season.
However, Bruno Fernandes (£11.0m) is averaging nearly 10 points per away match, and is the best pick for those not captaining the Liverpool star.
Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)
With a home fixture against West Bromwich Albion and on the back of his 30-minute appearance in Gameweek 14, Salah is the obvious pick for me.
Pranil Sheth (@Lateriser12)
One week off for Liverpool makes it an easy captaincy this week with Salah.
Utkarsh Dalmia (@zophar666)
Salah in a home fixture against a promoted team is as good as it gets. Liverpool have had a whole week off too, with no EFL Cup involvement, so he should be well rested.
Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily)
Sometimes you shouldn't overthink it, and Gameweek 15 is one of those times. Captain Salah if you have him - and if you don't, you'd better find a big sofa to hide behind!
Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg)
Kevin De Bruyne (£11.8m) looks like he has a big score in him. Newcastle United are second best in most matches, so will hopefully oblige.
Neal Thurman (@nealjthurman)
I hate to be repetitive, but Salah at Anfield against West Brom looks like captaincy gold. Not a controversial choice, but the right one.
Ben McNair (@drbenmcnair)
Salah's performances at home over the past few years speak for themselves. His opponent, West Brom, have one of the two worst defences in the league according to both expected and actual goals scored, so Liverpool’s Egyptian will have my armband.
If you're playing catch-up in your mini-leagues, De Bruyne will be a cracking differential captain this week.
Paul Gee (@FPLPaulGee)
A pretty obvious choice is Salah. Following his stunning cameo last weekend, it's hard to ignore him.
Holly Shand (@FFCommunity_)
I can't look beyond Salah this week! Add into the mix that Liverpool have one of the kindest schedules over the festive period, I can't see myself moving the armband off him anytime soon.
Nick (@WGTA_Nick)
It has to be Salah. He's been excellent so far this season and is currently on pace to break his own single-season record of 303 points.
Remember the Gameweek 15 deadline is 11:00 GMT on Saturday 26 December.
