As the two most-owned attacking players in Fantasy Premier League, Mohamed Salah (£12.5m) and Bruno Fernandes (£12.0m) can be expected to dominate the captaincy decision in Gameweek 1.
Liverpool's Salah, who is found in 50.9 per cent of squads, visits Norwich City after boasting the most reliable scoring record on the road last season.

Away from home, his 13 goals and 17 big chances were both league-leading totals.
Salah will be hoping for a repeat of the last campaign, when he scored a Gameweek 1 hat-trick against then-promoted Leeds United to claim 40 points with the armband.
Fernandes, who is owned by 49.4 per cent, will also be looking to mirror his performance from last term when Manchester United entertain Leeds.
The Portuguese produced 17 points in a 6-2 win in the corresponding fixture in 2020/21, one of 12 double-figure hauls on his way to being the top-scoring player in the game.
Liverpool and Man Utd differentials
Nonetheless, Salah and Fernandes have in-form team-mates who could outperform them.
Sadio Mane (£12.0m) was Liverpool’s top scorer over pre-season, recording three goals and an assist in five appearances.
And Diogo Jota (£7.5m) has also impressed recently, finding the net in each of his final two summer outings.
For Man Utd, Mason Greenwood (£7.5m) scored the opener in their 4-0 home win over Everton last weekend.
The teenager finished the last campaign in prolific form.
He scored six of his seven goals for the season from Gameweek 30 onwards, more than any team-mate.
Remember, the Gameweek 1 deadline is at 18:30 BST on Friday 13 August.
