Following the Premier League Mornings Live fan festival in Los Angeles, California this weekend, meet Amy, who has plenty of early starts as she makes sure watches her beloved Liverpool.
Amy
As I learned more and more about Liverpool, I just realized that this club was for me, because of what the club stands for and that you don’t have to walk alone.
Since I was four or five I was obsessed with the sport. Like that's my first love.
In 1998, I was in my twenties and on my own. So I was like, all right, I'm going to buy the whole sports package for TV.
I mean, every sport you could think of was on it and I just wanted soccer. It cost stupid money and I hardly made any, but that was what all my money went to. I was watching every game that I could. That was all I had.
I hadn't picked a team yet. I was watching all the other games but I was just drawn to Liverpool.

I saw Stevie G's first season. He was this young kid and I was like, this kid's got promise, not knowing he was going to be what he is.
Plus, Michael Owen and all these amazing players were on the squad. I was just obsessed and felt this connection.
In 2016, I formed a supporters group here in Carlsbad, California. What's special about supporters in Southern California is the passion. Last weekend, it was 4:30 in the morning and we were up cheering on our team.
A few years back, I put a bus together of 54 people, leaving at 2:15 in the morning. It started in San Diego, stopped in Carlsbad, Orange County, and ended in LA.
We had all these supporters clubs together to watch the Liverpool-United match. It was a really cool thing.
It does not matter what time of the day it is. We are always there to support our team.
