Manchester City’s full-back will be fresh to face the Magpies after serving a one-match ban in midweek.

Pep Guardiola’s side earned a league-high 10th clean sheet of the campaign in their 7-0 win over Leeds United on Tuesday.

Cancelo, meanwhile has been among Man City’s standout attackers on the road this season with four of his five assists away from home, while also recording a team-leading 18 shots.

Along with Raheem Sterling (£10.6m) and Phil Foden (£8.0m), Cancelo is among three Man City players included in a Selection that lines up in a 4-5-1 formation.

Mohamed Salah (£13.1m) continues with the armband while Foden is named vice-captain.

Emiliano Martinez (AVL) £5.5m*

See: Villa v Burnley postponed

Aston Villa’s No 1 hosts a Burnley side who have failed to score in their last three matches. Martinez earned his fifth clean sheet of 2021/22 against Norwich City in midweek, claiming seven points at Carrow Road.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (LIV) £8.2m

The right-back has amassed 33 points in his last four road trips ahead of Liverpool's visit to Tottenham Hotspur. One goal, two assists, two clean sheets and seven bonus points in that run highlight Alexander-Arnold’s multiple routes to returns.

Joao Cancelo (MCI) £6.8m

His total of four double-figure returns this term ranks joint-top for Man City.

Reece James (CHE) £6.3m

Thanks to his assist against Everton in midweek, the wing-back is now Chelsea’s top-scoring defender in Fantasy on 84 points. James heads to Wolverhampton Wanderers on the back of 21 and 12-point hauls in his last three away appearances.

Matty Cash (AVL) £5.0m*

The full-back has shown plenty of attacking threat under Steven Gerrard, his six shots in the box rank second for Aston Villa since the new head coach was appointed. Owned by 4.3 per cent, Cash can prove a strong differential against Burnley.

Mohamed Salah (LIV) £13.1m

Away from home, Salah’s nine goals and 14 big chances are both at least four more than any other player. Having blanked only once in his 17 appearances, Liverpool’s Egyptian remains entrusted with the armband despite Spurs’ improving defence under Antonio Conte.

Raheem Sterling (MCI) £10.6m

Man City’s winger has three goals, an assist and 34 points in his last five outings. After being rested for the midweek win over Leeds, Sterling will be fresh to take advantage of a Newcastle defence with only one clean sheet in 2021/22.

Phil Foden (MCI) £8.0m

The England star visits Newcastle on the back of a 12-point home haul against Leeds. Foden has earned 35 points in his last four away matches, scoring three goals and supplying two assists.

Raphinha (LEE) £6.6m

Leeds’ Brazilian has scored twice and supplied an assist in his last three at Elland Road, totalling 22 points. Raphinha entertains an Arsenal side who have lost each of their last three away contests, conceding nine goals.

Emile Smith Rowe (ARS) £6.0m

The Arsenal midfielder is expected to start against Leeds after appearing off the bench in midweek. Smith Rowe has scored in five of his last seven appearances, earning 48 points in that period.

Ollie Watkins (AVL) £7.7m*

See: Villa v Burnley postponed

Aston Villa’s forward has averaged 5.7 points per match for Gerrard, scoring three goals and supplying an assist. Watkins is the most-bought player in the Gameweek, earning 369,000 new owners ahead of Saturday’s deadline.
