Sunday
14:00 GMT - Fantasy Challenge deadline
Everton v Chelsea
Fulham v Southampton
Leicester v Wolves
Man Utd v AFC Bournemouth
Everton are among the division’s most in-form defensive sides, with Jordan Pickford (£4.9m) and Ashley Young (£4.7m) the top FPL beneficiaries.
But the Toffees are struggling at the other end - good news for Robert Sanchez (£4.8m). Chelsea, the league’s highest scorers, could also test Everton’s defensive solidity through Cole Palmer (£11.2m), Enzo Fernandez (£5.1m) or Nicolas Jackson (£8.2m).
Antonee Robinson (£4.8m) is in high demand as the leading FPL defender for assists this season, while only Arsenal and Liverpool have managed to prevent an in-form Alex Iwobi (£5.7m) from producing an attacking return recently. Both Raul Jimenez (£5.5m) and Rodrigo Muniz (£5.5m) have scored against top defences over the last two Gameweeks, and now whoever starts faces the league’s bottom side Southampton.
Against a porous Wolves team in relative turmoil, the ageless Jamie Vardy (£5.6m) could reach double-digit goal involvements for the season. Before backing Leicester defenders like James Justin (£4.4m), be warned that the Foxes have allowed a staggering shot tally so far under Ruud van Nistelrooy; Jorgen Strand Larsen (£5.7m) could therefore deliver on his recent attacking threat.
Amad (£5.2m) remains a brilliant cut-price pick, with six attacking returns over his five league starts under Ruben Amorim - the most of any Man Utd player. Bruno Fernandes (£8.4m), meanwhile, has scored in each of his last two matches.
Milos Kerkez (£4.7m), Illia Zabarnyi (£4.4m) and Dean Huijsen (£4.3m) offer varying attacking points potential from one of the league’s most in-form backlines. Antoine Semenyo (£5.6m), Justin Kluivert (£5.5m) and Dango Ouattara (£5.0m) all rank among the league’s top four players for shots over the last four matches, while Evanilson (£6.1m) remains an ever-present threat - although it’s fellow forward Enes Unal (£5.4m) who has two goals in as many Gameweeks.
16:30 GMT - Fantasy Challenge deadline
Spurs v Liverpool
James Maddison (£7.6m) and Son Heung-min (£9.8m) ran riot against Southampton last weekend, but will likely face a sterner test against Liverpool and their league-leading defence. Fraser Forster (£4.3m) should have plenty of opportunities to add to his saves tally, and Pedro Porro (£5.6m), who provides some attacking threat, was handed a rest - albeit a brief one - at the start of last weekend’s match.
Yet Mohamed Salah (£13.4m) could view Spurs’s injury-riddled backline as a chance to get back on the scoresheet after failing to net for the first time since Gameweek 7.
Diogo Jota (£7.2m) marked his return from injury with a goal that rescued a point for the Reds against Fulham, and - with Cody Gakpo (£7.1m) also finding the net - Arne Slot may have a selection dilemma on his hands as Luis Diaz (£7.4m), Darwin Nunez (£7.1m) - who scored during the week - and the fit-again Federico Chiesa (£6.8m) all push for starting spots.
Be sure to check the teamsheets for this one, then.
Just as Porro carries FPL points potential at both ends, so too does Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.0m). The unlimited budget in this week’s Fantasy Challenge may also make it easier than usual for managers to fit the Liverpool right-back in their squads.
