Joel Matip has been named EA SPORTS Player of the Month for February 2022, becoming the first Cameroonian to win the award.
The Liverpool centre-back played every minute and made an impact at both ends of the pitch as the Reds won all four of their matches during the month, closing the gap to champions and leaders Manchester City.
Matip contributed to three clean sheets, only conceding one goal in February.
