Mikel Arteta has been named Barclays Manager of the Month for the second time this season, winning March's award.

The Arsenal manager, who also took the accolade in September, guided his team to three victories from four matches last month to strengthen their grip on fourth place.

Arteta started the month seeing his side claim a thrilling 3-2 win at Watford to climb to fourth spot, and followed that by beating Leicester City 2-0 for a fifth successive Premier League victory.

The Gunners responded positively to a 2-0 home defeat by Liverpool, ending the month with a 1-0 triumph at Aston Villa.

It was the first time in seven years that Arsenal had won five consecutive Premier League away matches, and Arteta will look to make it six when his team travel to Crystal Palace on Monday.
