Peter Crouch scored for the second successive match to help Stoke City to a comfortable 2-0 win over Watford.
Ryan Shawcross put Mark Hughes’s side ahead in first-half stoppage time when he volleyed home Charlie Adam’s corner for his first goal in just over two years.
Crouch doubled the lead as he poked in a cross from Adam that had been missed by the Watford defence.
Heurelho Gomes denied Jonathan Walters from scoring Stoke's third while Sebastian Prodl headed past a post for the visitors, who have won once in their past eight Premier League matches.
