Eight players were shortlisted for the EA SPORTS Player of the Month award after outstanding performances in April 2022.
Fans had the chance to vote via the EA SPORTS website before 12:00 BST on Monday 9 May.
The public vote was combined with those of a panel of football experts to decide the winner.

Nathan Collins (BUR)

The centre-back had a breakthrough month, helping Burnley move out of the bottom three with a four-match unbeaten run. He stepped up in the absence of injured captain Ben Mee, scoring his first two Premier League goals, against Everton and Southampton.
Kevin De Bruyne (MCl)

The Belgian scored or assisted in all four of his appearances during the month, directly contributing to five goals in total. De Bruyne helped his side retain a one-point lead over Liverpool at the top of the table.
Bruno Guimaraes (NEW)

The Brazilian scored or assisted in three April matches, with one of his three goals from central midfield being a superb chipped finish at Norwich City. His all-action performances helped Newcastle United into the top half.
Gabriel Jesus (MCl)

Jesus became only the second Manchester City player to be directly involved in five goals in a Premier League match, emulating Hall of Fame inductee Sergio Aguero with an incredible display against Watford. He also scored a vital goal in the 2-2 draw with Liverpool that kept City ahead in the title race.

Ronaldo joined the Premier League 100 Club with a goal at Arsenal, after his hat-trick inspired a 3-2 home win over Norwich. He showed great character in what was a difficult month off the pitch.

The South Korean spearheaded Spurs’ top-four push with four goals and an assist, including a hat-trick in a 4-0 win at Aston Villa. His April contributions have helped him close in on Mohamed Salah in the race for the Golden Boot.
Thiago (LIV)

Thiago ran the show in central midfield for Liverpool, starting all but one of their April matches and catching the eye with some dazzling individual displays. Against Manchester United, for example, he had a pass accuracy of 96 per cent from 113 passes.
Leandro Trossard (BHA)

Trossard scored three goals in the month, including a strike in a 2-1 triumph at Arsenal and a late winner at another UEFA Champions League-chasing side in Spurs.
