Middlesbrough have announced their first signing of the January transfer window, with Rudy Gestede joining from Aston Villa for an undisclosed fee.
Gestede, 28, scored five goals in 32 Premier League appearances in 2015/16. He also played three matches in the top flight for Cardiff City during the 2013/14 campaign.

He has agreed a deal at the Riverside Stadium until June 2020.
A full Benin international, Gestede could make his Boro debut when Aitor Karanka’s side visit Watford on Saturday 14 January.
