Owners of Erling Haaland (£12.2m) in Fantasy Premier League should consider captaining an Arsenal or Liverpool player for Double Gameweek 25.

Manchester City’s forward can be found in a massive 85 per cent of squads ahead of his trip to AFC Bournemouth.

Haaland averages a goal every 65 minutes against promoted sides this season and can deliver another big haul this weekend.

Nonetheless, Arsenal and Liverpool’s attackers have two matches to profit from and can easily eclipse the Norwegian.

Strong alternatives

Bukayo Saka (£8.4m) and Mohamed Salah (£12.7m) are likely to be the most popular replacements.

Saka has blanked in just seven of his 23 appearances this season ahead of his encounters with Leicester City and Everton.

Salah, meanwhile, has two goals and two assists in his last three in all competitions and faces Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

That suggests their respective team-mates Martin Odegaard (£7.0m) and Darwin Nunez (£8.7m) will be overlooked as armband picks.

Odegaard has six double-figure hauls this season, second only to the seven of Haaland.

Nunez has scored in back-to-back matches in all competitions and is owned by only 10 per cent of managers.

Elsewhere among the Double Gameweek 25 players, Everton’s James Tarkowski (£4.3m) offers potential at both ends of the pitch against Aston Villa and Arsenal.

The centre-back has one goal and two clean sheets in three outings under Sean Dyche, including a 15-point haul in a 1-0 win over the Gunners in Gameweek 22.
