The Spaniard’s return to action last weekend could prove crucial for Leeds United.

Rodrigo was Leeds' standout attacker before he was sidelined through injury, scoring 10 goals in 19 appearances.
Leeds are now set to embark on a favourable schedule that lifts the appeal of their assets in Fantasy.
They are among only eight sides to have four scheduled matches in the next three Gameweeks.
Leeds visit Wolverhampton Wanderers in Blank Gameweek 28 before facing Arsenal and Nottingham Forest in Double Gameweek 29.
The Elland Road club then entertain Crystal Palace in Gameweek 30.
According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), three of those matches score only two, which lifts Rodrigo’s prospects for more goals.
The underlying numbers show his influence on their attack.
The Spaniard’s 53 shots, 40 shots in the box and 20 shots on target are all more than any teammate.
Rodrigo also fares exceptionally well compared to other midfielders in Fantasy this season.
Indeed, his average of 131.7 minutes per goal ranks top among midfielders with at least five goals to their name.
Top midfielders for minutes per goal*
Player | Mins/goal | Goals |
Rodrigo | 131.7 | 10 |
---|---|---|
Marcus Rashford | 151.6 | 14 |
Phil Foden | 159.2 | 9 |
James Maddison | 170.0 | 9 |
Miguel Almiron | 177.2 | 11 |
*minimum five goals
Having just returned from injury, Rodrigo is perhaps unlikely to start all four of Leeds’ upcoming fixtures.

Nonetheless, his busy schedule hands him the chance to get more goals and re-establish himself as a strong value pick in midfield.
