Manchester United have confirmed that Lisandro Martinez will miss the rest of the season after suffering a foot injury against Sevilla in the UEFA Europa League.
The 25-year-old Argentinian centre-back sustained the injury in the 86th minute in Man Utd's 2-2 draw on Thursday night.
"Lisandro Martinez has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after fracturing a metatarsal bone in his foot," a club statement read.
"However, the Argentinian defender is expected to make a full recovery in time to be ready for the start of next season."
Raphael Varane also picked an injury in the contest, and though he will not miss the rest of the season, he is "expected to be out for a few weeks", the club said.

"Are any players available that were missing? For Sunday, yeah, [they] could be. But we have to see,” explained Ten Hag when asked if Shaw could be back.
"We have now two sessions to go of training, so I don't know by now. But it can be that Scott and Luke return in the squad, but [we are] not sure."
