Jamal Lowe hit a hat-trick as Portsmouth earned their first Premier League Cup Group D win by beating Norwich City 4-0 at Westleigh Park.
Nicke Kabamba's first Pompey goal opened the scoring and Lowe scored twice in the space of 60 seconds, before netting his third 14 minutes from time.

The victory means that Portsmouth are two points behind group leaders Everton with two matches remaining. The Canaries sit bottom of the group on four points, but only one behind Pompey and third-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers, who surrendered a late lead against Everton last night.

Portsmouth's next fixture in the competition is a crucial match at Telford against Wolves, while Norwich's next tie is at Carrow Road against Everton on 15 February, although have two Premier League 2 Division 2 matches before that - the next one away to West Bromwich Albion at Kidderminster on Monday.
