Donavan Wilson and Duckens Nazon scored in the first 18 minutes as Wolverhampton Wanderers moved up to third in Division 2 with a 2-1 win over Brighton and Hove Albion at Telford.
Wilson struck after only two minutes from close range and striker partner Nazon scored with a low shot to put the hosts in control early on.
Henrik Bjordal set up a tense finish with an 83rd minute reply but Wolves held on to move above Newcastle United on goal difference, 12 points behind leaders Swansea City with two matches in hand, while the Seagulls stayed eighth.
