Jose Mourinho wants his Manchester United players to "kill opponents off" in front of goal in order to stay in the race for the top four.
"We need to kill opponents off and this is deja vu all season," he told manutd.com in previewing Tuesday's match against Everton, which immediately follows a 0-0 draw with West Bromwich Albion on Saturday that left them five points behind fourth place.
"When you score, the game is open and you have a completely different story because then they have to play a different way.
"We are not consistent with this, we miss easy chances, we have moments or periods where we push but then a couple of players disappear."
