The Scout is tipping five players for big success in Gameweek 6 of 2023/24 Fantasy Premier League ahead of Saturday’s 13:30 BST deadline.

Odsonne Edouard (Crystal Palace) £5.6m

Edouard has scored four goals in the Eagles’ first five matches to place third in the forward standings on 32 points.

The Frenchman’s 20 shots, five big chances and nine shots on target all stand third in his position in Fantasy.

In addition, Edouard’s 19 shots in the box rank second only to the 29 of Erling Haaland (£14.1m) among all players.

Fulham, meanwhile, have conceded 20 big chances, more than any other side in 2023/24.

Sven Botman (Newcastle) £4.5m

The centre-back has emerged as the go-to defender for managers as Newcastle United travel to Sheffield United in Gameweek 6.

Botman has collected over 147,000 new owners after helping the Magpies to their first clean sheet of the campaign last time out.

The Dutchman also earned the maximum bonus against Brentford, underlining his big value ahead of a kind run of opponents.

According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), four of Newcastle's next five matches score only two.

6 Sheff Utd (A) 2 9 Crystal Palace (H) 2
7 Burnley (H) 2 10 Wolves (A) 2
8 West Ham (A) 3
Yoane Wissa (Brentford) £6.1m

A run of three straight blanks has dented managers’ interest in the Brentford forward.

His team-mate Bryan Mbeumo (£6.9m) is the second most-bought midfielder in Gameweek 6 with 149,000+ new owners, while only 20,000+ have brought in Wissa.

Yet the underlying numbers show Wissa has boasted a far greater goal threat than Mbeumo during that barren spell.

Wissa betters his team-mate by 10 shots to four, and by nine shots in the box to four.

According to the FDR, three of Brentford’s next four matches score a mere two.

That includes their home encounter with Everton this weekend, along with matches against Nottingham Forest and Burnley.

Wissa's Gameweek 2 strike v Fulham
Manuel Akanji (Man City) £5.0m

The Swiss has been Manchester City’s most reliable pick in defence since making his debut in Gameweek 8 last season.

Akanji has played 2,653 minutes compared with the 1,924 minutes of his nearest rival, Nathan Ake (£5.1m).

Indeed, his only absence this season, against Sheff Utd in Gameweek 3, was an enforced one after he picked up a knock.

Back-to-back matches against Nott'm Forest and Wolverhampton Wanderers give Akanji every opportunity to deliver more clean sheets for the champions.

Pascal Gross (Brighton) £6.3m

The versatile German is one of only three players to start all five of Brighton & Hove Albion’s matches this season, along with Kaoru Mitoma (£6.5m) and Lewis Dunk (£5.0m).

Gross underlined his importance to Brighton with a goal and 10-point haul in their 3-1 win at Manchester United last weekend.

He has created a team-high 16 chances, while his seven shots on target are more than any other Brighton midfielder.

That all-round influence can help Gross claim more returns at home to AFC Bournemouth this weekend.
