The brave Fantasy Premier League managers who chose to captain Carlton Morris (£5.6m) over Erling Haaland (£14.1m) are set to experience a big swing in their FPL mini-leagues.
Over 7.8million managers gave their armband to Haaland, who blanked for only the second time this season, returning just two points as Manchester City lost 2-1 at Wolves.
It was the first match this term in which Haaland failed to pose a significant goal threat, mustering just one shot all match.
Only 154,000 managers had the foresight to captain Morris, who scored and is on course for eight points, after bonus, following Luton Town's 2-1 win at Everton.
And better yet for Morris's backers, the forward has another match to play in Double Gameweek 7, facing Burnley at home on Tuesday.
The decision to captain Morris looked even better after Saturday's final match as the second most-popular captain, Mohamed Salah (£12.5m), blanked against Tottenham Hotspur and was booked, getting just one point.

Among the top 100 managers in the current world rankings, three took the risk of captaining Morris, while one has gone with an ultra-differential move, giving the armband to Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez (£4.9m), who is without an attacking return so far this season.
The one manager in the top 100 who captained Kieran Trippier (£6.7m) also deserves applause.
In every previous Gameweek where FPL bosses have been able to make transfers, the most-popular recruit of the Gameweek has blanked. Trippier was the No 1 recruit for Gameweek 7, being added to almost 800,000 squads.
But the Newcastle United defender broke that curse with an assist and a clean sheet in a 2-0 victory over Burnley.
