Christian Eriksen kept Tottenham Hotspur on the heels of Premier League leaders Chelsea with a late long-range winner at Crystal Palace.
Chelsea looked set to enjoy a six-point lead going into the weekend until Eriksen picked up the ball 25 yards from goal and drove an unstoppable shot past Wayne Hennessey with 12 minutes left.
Palace enjoyed the better of the first half with Hugo Lloris denying Christian Benteke and Andros Townsend firing just over.
But Spurs improved after the half-time introduction of Son Heung-min and Moussa Sissoko. Dele Alli was denied by Hennessey before Eriksen won it.
The result leaves Spurs four points behind Chelsea with five matches remaining, while Palace stay 12th, seven points above the relegation zone.
