Liverpool produced a dominant display at Anfield, beating Nottingham Forest 3-0 to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to five.
The Reds' front three were on target as Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez scored in the space of four first-half minutes, before Mohamed Salah found the net in the second half.

How the match unfolded
Liverpool controlled the early proceedings against Forest, with Nunez at the heart of the home side's attacks.
He was first denied by Matt Turner before heading over the crossbar from a corner. Nunez’s third goal attempt on goal did lead to the opening goal though, with his shot parried by Turner into the path of Jota, who tapped into an empty net in the 31st minute.
Nunez doubled Liverpool's lead four minutes later, prodding in from close range following good build-up play from Salah and Dominik Szoboszlai.
Liverpool kept applying pressure to Forest’s goal as Turner produced two more saves, first denying Ryan Gravenberch and then Szoboszlai in quick succession.
Jurgen Klopp’s side all but ended the contest through Salah in the 77th minute.
The Egyptian had the simple task of putting the ball into an empty net after a long ball from Szoboszlai was misjudged by Turner and Harry Toffolo for his 15th goal in his last 14 Premier League appearances at Anfield.
Forest did come close to netting a consolation through Anthony Elanga, who produced a fine volley from a tight angle, only to be denied by the crossbar.
Liverpool remain in fourth with 23 points, three behind leaders Tottenham Hotspur.
Forest drop to 16th and stay on 10 points from as many matches.

Captain John McGinn opened the scoring before Moussa Diaby took centre stage as he netted the second before the Frenchman's effort was turned into his own goal by Luton captain Tom Lockyer.
How the match unfolded
McGinn fired Villa ahead on 17 minutes with a right-footed shot into the bottom corner, his second strike in as many matches following his UEFA Europa Conference League goal in the midweek win over AZ Alkmaar.
The Scot's strike was set up by Douglas Luiz, who became the first Villa player to be directly involved in a goal across each of his last seven Premier League home appearances, with seven goals and one assist.
Villa doubled their advantage four minutes after half-time, Diaby volleying in after getting on the end of Leon Bailey’s knockdown.
Villa added a third in the 62nd minute, with Diaby's effort across goal turned into his own net by Lockyer.
Luton grabbed a consolation goal with seven minutes remaining after Ezri Konsa’s header back to Emiliano Martinez hit the crossbar and bounced in off the goalkeeper.
Villa move on to 22 points, just one fewer than fourth-placed Liverpool.
Luton drop to 18th and stay on five points, their worst-ever start to a season across the top four tiers of English football.
Honours even between Brighton and Fulham
Joao Palhinha scored a stunning long-range strike to earn Fulham a 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Portuguese scored midway through the second half after Evan Ferguson had given the Seagulls the lead in the 26th minute.

How the match unfolded
Brighton were on the front foot from the start, forcing Bernd Leno into two early saves. First Carlos Baleba called Fulham’s goalkeeper into action with an effort from distance, before Simon Adingra was denied by Leno moments later.
The home side's early pressure finally told as Ferguson gave Brighton the lead. The Republic of Ireland striker received a pass from Pascal Gross before sweeping a fine left-footed finish into the bottom-left corner from the edge of the box.
Ferguson becomes the first teenager to score 10 or more Premier League goals in a calendar year since Wayne Rooney netted 11 in 2005.
Despite Brighton’s dominance, Fulham equalised on 65 minutes through Palhinha's superb long-range strike.
Brighton lost possession deep in their own half and Fulham worked the ball off to Palhinha, who smashed the ball into the top-right corner.
The Seagulls came close to retaking the lead, with Joel Veltman's header cleared off the line by Antonee Robinson, but neither side were able to find a late winner.
Brighton's point takes them on to 17 as they stay in seventh place, level on points with Newcastle United, who are above them on goal difference. They are still yet to beat Fulham in seven Premier League contests, the most they've faced a side without winning in the competition.
Fulham drop to 14th with 12 points.
