The Scout is tipping five players for big success in Gameweek 12 of 2023/24 Fantasy Premier League ahead of Saturday's 11:00 GMT deadline.

Douglas Luiz (Aston Villa) £5.6m

A visit from Fulham gives Aston Villa’s Brazilian midfielder the opportunity to continue his outstanding run of home form.

Douglas Luiz has produced returns in each of his five outings at Villa Park, scoring five goals and supplying an assist to collect 47 points.

That total ranks alongside Mohamed Salah (£12.9m) as the joint-top scoring player in home matches this season.

Although his output has been boosted by spot-kick duties, Douglas Luiz’s underlying numbers highlight his all-round influence on Villa’s attack.

His six shots on target and nine chances created both place among their top three players at home in 2023/24.

Luis Diaz (Liverpool) £7.4m

The Colombian has returned to form ahead of Liverpool’s home encounter with Brentford this weekend.

Diaz has delivered attacking returns in each of his last two outings, including his late equaliser against Luton Town on Sunday.

The winger been far more reliable at Anfield since joining the Reds in 2021/22.

Diaz's late equaliser against Luton

He has been involved in 12 goals in home matches, scoring eight and assisting a further four. By contrast, Diaz has been involved in only five goals in away fixtures, thanks to three goals and two assists.

Liverpool are averaging three goals per home match in all competitions, making Diaz a tempting differential pick at under seven per cent ownership.

Eddie Nketiah (Arsenal) £5.7m

Arsenal’s favourable upcoming schedule has made the forward a major target for managers.

Nketiah is the second most-bought player in the Gameweek, with more than 182,000 managers bringing him in ahead of their home match with Burnley.

He was a huge success in his previous outing against a similar opponent, scoring a hat-trick to claim 17 points at home to Sheffield United in Gameweek 10.

Nketiah's hat-trick v Sheff Utd

Mikel Arteta’s men also have kind fixtures with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Luton in their next four, marking Nketiah out as a potentially major source of value.

Mohammed Kudus (West Ham) £6.5m

After a series of substitute appearances, the summer signing has started each of West Ham United’s last two matches.

Kudus has seized his opportunity, producing a goal, an assist and 11 points against Brentford last weekend.

The Hammers are now set to embark on a schedule that hands Kudus the opportunity to build momentum.

According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), five of their next six matches – including a home encounter with Nottingham Forest this weekend – score only two.

An ownership of less than one per cent makes Kudus a major alternative to his team-mate Jarrod Bowen (£7.5m), who is found in over 22 per cent of squads.

Lewis Dunk (Brighton) £5.0m

Brighton & Hove Albion’s centre-back boasts strong potential at both ends of the pitch at home to Sheff Utd.

Dunk’s aerial threat could prove a major weapon for the Seagulls this weekend. He has produced eight headed shots, more than any other defender in Fantasy.

Sheff Utd, meanwhile, have conceded 41 such attempts this season, more than any other side.

Brighton’s chances of a rare clean sheet also look promising. The Blades have scored only one goal in their last three matches on the road.
