Dominic Solanke turned in a superb performance against Manchester United as he helped AFC Bournemouth to a first ever Premier League win at Old Trafford in Saturday's 3-0 victory.
The Cherries striker opened the scoring early on with his eighth Premier League goal of the season, before playing a key role when Phillip Billing doubled the visitors' advantage.
Consequently, Solanke is among three Bournemouth players named in the Team of the Week selected by Alan Shearer, the Premier League's all-time top scorer and Hall of Fame inductee.
James Trafford (Burnley)
"He made three or four great saves to earn his side a precious point."
Diego Carlos (Aston Villa)
"Hardly put a foot wrong. His positioning allowed him to make crucial clearances to prevent Arsenal from scoring."
Marcos Senesi (Bournemouth)
"Didn’t give Man Utd a kick and scored for the second match in a row."
Destiny Udogie (Spurs)
"Newcastle couldn’t cope with his movement and he capitalised with a deserved goal.”
Marcus Tavernier (Bournemouth)
"If only Man Utd’s players had his determination. He was full of running and provided two assists with excellent deliveries.”
Rodri (Man City)
"His presence in Man City's midfield is vital, and the driving run for Bernardo Silva’s equaliser didn't go unnoticed."
Joao Palhinha (Fulham)
"A tower of strength who also had the finesse to whip in a lovely cross for Raul Jimenez's opening goal."
John McGinn (Aston Villa)
"Set the tone for yet another brilliant home win with his energy, his tackling and his fourth league goal of the season.”
Dwight McNeil (Everton)
"Although he didn’t score himself, he was a constant threat in dangerous pockets. Sean Dyche is again getting the best out of him."
Dominic Solanke (Bournemouth)
"He ran the the show and gave Man Utd’s back four a torrid time. He took his goal well, too, with a great run to the near post.”
Richarlison (Spurs)
"Too hot to handle for Newcastle, justifying his return to the centre-forward role with two good goals."
Manager: Andoni Iraola (Bournemouth)
"To go to Old Trafford and dominate from start to finish is beyond impressive. Bournemouth fans will remember this famous win for years to come."
