The Festive Fixtures are in full swing as we head into Matchweek 18.

‌The matchweek starts early with a match between arch rivals Crystal Palace and Brighton & Hove Albion on Thursday.

After a bad run of form, Palace pulled off a thrilling comeback at defending champions Manchester City to earn a 2-2 draw that could generate some momentum.

On the other hand, Brighton lost 2-0 to Arsenal over the weekend, ending the club’s incredible 32-match scoring streak.

The Seagulls will look to get their offense going again against a Palace side that has lost their last four home matches. With no love lost between them, this fixture could prove to be an electric start to the weekend.

‌Saturday morning kicks off with a clash at the London Stadium between eighth-place West Ham United and Manchester United, in seventh.

The Hammers rebounded from a 5-0 defeat against Fulham to emphatically defeat Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-0 at home  and can move up the table once again with a victory.

The Red Devils have managed only one win in December so far, but they battled to a 0-0 draw at Liverpool last time out and will look to earn another away result on Saturday.

The two teams currently sitting first and second in the table face off on Saturday when leaders Arsenal visit a Liverpool side sitting one place and one point behind them in the table.

It's been a thrilling title race so far this season with several teams having had their turn in first place already. Indeed, Aston Villa could go top with a win against Sheffield United on Friday.

Saturday's Anfield encounter promises to be an epic contest. Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 10 home PL games against Arsenal (W7 D3), while the Gunners have conceded 43 goals in their past 15 Premier League matches with the Reds.
