Nottingham Forest have confirmed Nuno Espirito Santo as their new head coach.
The 49-year-old replaces Steve Cooper, who was dismissed on Tuesday, and signs a two-and-a-half year contract. He recently left Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad, after 16 months in charge.
Nuno returns to the Premier League having left Tottenham Hotspur in November 2021. He also had four seasons at Wolverhampton Wanderers, guiding them to back-to-back seventh-place top-flight finishes, the best the club have achieved in the competition.

He also oversaw Wolves' first European campaign for 39 years, taking them to the quarter-finals of the 2019/20 UEFA Europa League, and has been named Barclays Manager of the Month on four occasions.
Nuno arrives at Forest with the remit of retaining their Premier League status.
Forest have won only once in 13 matches, taking a single point in their last six fixtures.
Nuno is set to be in the dugout this Saturday when Forest host AFC Bournemouth with his new charges sitting five points above 18th-place Luton Town, who have played a match fewer.
