More than half a million managers in Fantasy Premier League must have watched in anguish as Cole Palmer (£5.6m) put on a display in Chelsea's 3-2 win at Luton Town.
The Chelsea midfielder scored twice and delivered an assist in the match at Kenilworth Road.
But that was little comfort to most of the 345,000 Fantasy managers who had sold him for Gameweek 19 because Palmer had been suspended for five yellow cards. A further 113,388 managers then sold him going into Gameweek 20.
Of those managers who had kept hold of Palmer or bought him back, more than 370,000 of his 2.26million owners decided to leave him on their bench.
Shoutout to the 310 #FPL managers who triple-captained Cole Palmer 🔥

They will be hoping that the 18 points he earned will come in to their teams thanks to a non-playing starter.
