There will be plenty of Premier League representation at The Best FIFA Football Awards 2023 taking place on Monday in London at 19:30 GMT.
The FIFA FIFPRO Men’s World 11 is the only global football award decided exclusively by professional footballers, celebrating the 11 best players at the end of each calendar year.
A remarkable 12 of the 23 players nominated for the men’s category are either current Premier League players or were involved in the competition in 2023, with nine of those having featured for champions Manchester City.

This year’s chosen stars are Man City’s Ederson, Kyle Walker, John Stones, Ruben Dias, Rodri, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Ilkay Gundogan, who is now at Barcelona, and Erling Haaland.
They are the most-represented side from the Premier League, thanks to their Treble success, in which they added the FA Cup and a first UEFA Champions League to their top-flight success.
Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk and former Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, now at Bayern Munich, are also nominated.
In terms of individual awards, Haaland is up for Best Men's player, along with Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi, while Ederson is among three nominees for Best Men's Goalkeeper.
The men's achievements are considered for the period from 19 December 2022 to 20 August 2023.
Pep Guardiola is in contention to be named Best Men's Coach, with the Man City manager having finished third in this category in the previous two years.
Julio Enciso is the sole Premier League representative for the FIFA Puskas award for Best Goal after his stunning strike (below) for Brighton & Hove Albion against Man City last May, which won the Budweiser Goal of Season award for 2022/23.
If Enciso wins, it will be the fifth time in seven years the Puskas Award winner has been a goal scored in a Premier League match.
Olivier Giroud took the prize in 2017 for his scorpion kick against Crystal Palace, with Mohamed Salah handed the award a year later for his solo effort versus Everton.
Two Spurs players then claimed the honour in back-to-back years. Son Heung-min won in 2020 for his incredible long run and finish against Burnley, and Erik Lamela took the prize in 2021 for his rabona in the north London derby at Arsenal.
