Primary school teachers can register for free resources and parents can nominate schools by visiting Premier League Primary Stars
Shepherd Primary School, in Ricksmansworth welcomed a special guest to assembly last week as they received new football kit courtesy of the Premier League Primary Stars Kit and Equipment Scheme.
Watford captain Troy Deeney brought the kit to the Hertfordshire school, one of 12 are involved with the PL Primary Stars project run by Watford FC in the Community Trust.
"We really value the partnership we have with Watford FC's Community Trust," Shepherd Primary headteacher Claire Foad said.
"The visit from Troy was aspirational and thrilled the whole school. Troy was fantastic with the children, it's certainly a day they will never forget."

Deeney talked with the pupils about his career and life as a Premier League footballer, before inviting the school's football team to receive their kit.
"It's great to see the Premier League getting behind schools with kit donations like this," Deeney said. "Seeing the excitement the kit brought the school's football team was really special, I wish them the best of luck in it."
The new Premier League Primary Stars Kit and Equipment scheme runs alongside PL Primary Stars and allow teachers to receive a full team kit or useful equipment for their school to be used for different subject areas.
Teachers can apply for their school by registering for the programme at PLPrimaryStars.com. Parents can also nominate their school via the website. This year's application window opens from 24 April-9 June.
