The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts give their thoughts on who to captain in Gameweek 31 ahead of the deadline at 18:00 BST on Tuesday 2 April.

I didn't have Mohamed Salah (£13.3m) in Gameweek 30 and I got away with it. 12 shots on goal is his highest ever tally in the Premier League and he should have scored more than once. I've bought him in for Gameweek 31 and will give him the armband against Sheffield United

Bukayo Saka (£9.0m) looks fit to start against Luton Town and I back him to return.

After racking up his highest ever Premier League total of 12 attempts against Brighton & Hove Albion, I wanted to bring in Salah this week. I got away with not owning him last time out where he could have easily racked up 15 points. I've taken a hit to bring him in and captain him given his opponent on Thursday night. If I was looking for an alternative option I would still look within this fixture and hand the armband to Darwin Nunez (£7.6m).

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

Salah faces Sheff Utd on Thursday and the armband will be with him when, hopefully, he is more clinical with his chances. Saka and Erling Haaland (£14.3m) are also great picks if you want to look outside the Egyptian.

Salah has come in for me on my Wildcard and he will get the captain's armband. There isn't a better fixture than Sheff Utd at home.
