Kai Havertz (£7.4m) is named in the best XI for Double Gameweek 34 (DGW34) of Fantasy Premier League in a squad of players who all play TWICE.

A recent role up front has transformed the Arsenal star's output. Havertz is the second top-scoring player in Fantasy over the last nine Gameweeks, amassing 70 points thanks to five goals and five assists. Only Cole Palmer (£6.2m), with 86 points, has bettered the German's total.

That form has earned Havertz a place in an XI that lines up in a 3-5-2 formation, with Mohamed Salah (£13.5m) handed the armband and Bukayo Saka (£9.0m) named as vice-captain.

DGW34 Scout Selection
Dean Henderson (Crystal Palace) £4.4m

The Crystal Palace goalkeeper hosts West Ham United and Newcastle United on the back of his season-high haul against Liverpool last weekend. Henderson earned nine points at Anfield, making five saves and earning two bonus points in the 1-0 win.

Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool) £6.6m

Liverpool’s centre-back can deliver returns at both ends of the pitch against Fulham and Everton. Van Dijk’s totals of 34 shots, 32 shots in the box, 25 headed shots and 11 shots on target all rank among the top two defenders in 2023/24 Fantasy.

Gabriel (Arsenal) £5.4m

The Brazilian’s threat at set-pieces makes him the best route into an Arsenal side that has collected 14 clean sheets this season. Gabriel has scored three goals and has had 26 shots in the box, at least 20 more than any other Gunners defender so far.

Max Kilman (Wolves) £4.5m

Wolverhampton Wanderers’ centre-back is selected for his home encounters with Arsenal and AFC Bournemouth due to injury concerns over his defensive team-mate Rayan Ait-Nouri (£4.8m). Kilman has matched the Algerian’s 45 points at Molineux in 2023/24 FPL, scoring twice and keeping three clean sheets.

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) £13.5m

The Liverpool star’s totals of 26 shots, 19 shots in the box, six big chances and 11 shots on target are all more than any other DGW34 midfielder in the last six Gameweeks. Salah totalled 21 points in his previous meetings with Fulham and Everton earlier this campaign, underlining why he is likely to be the top armband pick for the biggest Double Gameweek of 2023/24.

Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) £9.0m

The Arsenal winger is the most-owned DGW34 player, found in over 58 per cent of squads. Saka has delivered seven double-figure returns in Fantasy this season, and combined with his high popularity, means he is likely to be Salah’s most-backed rival for the armband.

Luis Diaz (Liverpool) £7.8m

The Colombian offers strong all-round potential for Liverpool’s matches against Fulham and Everton. Diaz’s totals of 16 shots, 11 shots in the box and 14 key passes over the last six Gameweeks all place among the top two midfielders with a DGW34.

Kai Havertz (Arsenal) £7.4m

An ownership of just over seven per cent makes Havertz a great differential pick for Arsenal’s two fixtures.

Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace) £6.0m

The Palace star approaches DGW34 on the back of his goal and 10-point haul at Liverpool last weekend. Eze’s 11 shots, eight shots in the box and 11 key passes in the last six Gameweeks place among the top five midfielders with a DGW34.

Dominic Solanke (Bournemouth) £7.2m

Bournemouth’s talisman warmed up for his trips to Aston Villa and Wolves by scoring his 17th goal of the season last weekend. As the focal point of the Cherries attack, Solanke’s 84 shots in the box and 25 big chances are both more than twice the tally of any team-mate.

Jean-Philippe Mateta (Crystal Palace) £5.0m

Palace's forward has scored in all three of his home matches under new head coach Oliver Glasner.
