Alejandro Garnacho's incredible overhead kick against Everton has been voted the 2023/24 Budweiser Goal of the Season.

Garnacho produced a sensational acrobatic finish to open the scoring in the third minute of Manchester United's 3-0 win at Everton, running away from goal to meet Diogo Dalot's back-post cross with a mid-air finish that flew into the top corner.

It was one of the best Premier League goals of recent memory, and one that drew incredible reactions from Garnacho himself and people across the world.

"I can't believe it to be honest," Garnacho said after his goal. "I didn’t see how I scored. I just listened to the crowd and said, 'Oh my god.'"

The Argentinian's strike received the most combined votes by the public and a panel of football experts, topping a shortlist that featured each of the season's Budweiser Goal of the Month winners, plus one standout strike from May.

His goal beat those of Kaoru Mitoma, Bruno Fernandes, Saman Ghoddos, Alexis Mac Allister, Oscar Bobb, Kobbie Mainoo, Marcus Rashford, Cole Palmer and Moises Caicedo.

It is the first time a Man Utd player has won the award since its inception in 2016/17.
