Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur will both face Rangers as the draw for the UEFA Europa League league phase was made.
One of United’s eight matches in the competition will also pit Erik ten Hag against one of his predecessors at Old Trafford, when Man Utd travel to Fenerbahce to play against Jose Mourinho.
As with the UEFA Champions League, Man Utd and Spurs have been given four home and four away fixtures in the 36-team league, starting on 25-26 September and finishing at the end of January 2025.
The top eight teams will qualify for the last 16 knockout round, with those placed ninth to 24th taking part in a two-legged playoff to determine the remaining eight teams.
The dates of the matches will be determined this weekend.

In the UEFA Conference League, Chelsea have been given six opponents, three home and three away, in their 32-team league, starting their campaign on 3 October through to 19 December.
