The Scout looks at the best performing players across the first seven Gameweeks of 2024/25 Fantasy Premier League.
Lining up in a 3-5-2 formation, the XI contains FOUR Liverpool stars, with Arsenal and Chelsea the only other sides to supply more than one player.
Andre Onana (Man Utd) £5.0m, 39pts
Manchester United’s No 1 has combined four clean sheets with a penalty save, four save points and three bonus points on his way to the top of the goalkeeper standings on 39 points. Onana has been particularly productive in away matches – indeed, his total of 29 points in such contests ranks SECOND among all players in Fantasy.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) £7.1m, 41pts
Liverpool’s right-back has rewarded his 31 per cent ownership with an assist and five clean sheets across his first seven outings under Arne Slot. Alexander-Arnold’s 16 key passes and five big chances created both place among the top two defenders this season, highlighting his considerable assist potential.
Gabriel (Arsenal) £6.2m, 39pts
Two goals and three clean sheets underline the impact of Arsenal's centre-back at both ends of the pitch. Gabriel’s 10 shots in the box and four big chances – situations where a player is expected to score – both rank first among defenders and demonstrate his peerless goal threat.
Ibrahima Konate (Liverpool) £5.2m, 37pts
The Liverpool centre-back is the No 1 defender for value in Fantasy, returning 7.1 points per million spent. Konate has combined a goal and an assist with four clean sheets to amass 37 points, just four points behind his premium-priced team-mate Alexander-Arnold.
Cole Palmer (Chelsea) £10.8m, 67pts
Chelsea’s playmaker has been quick to show just why he was the top-scoring player in Fantasy last season. Palmer has scored six goals and supplied five assists over his first seven appearances for Enzo Maresca, with monster hauls of 17 and 25 points taking him joint-top of the player standings, alongside Erling Haaland (£15.4m).
Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) £12.7m, 62pts
The Liverpool star has delivered four goals, four assists and four double-figure hauls to underline his captaincy credentials in Fantasy. Salah has proven particularly reliable on his travels this season – his total of 44 points in away matches is at least 15 more than any other player.
Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) £10.1m, 54pts
Arsenal’s talisman has blanked only ONCE across his first seven outings of 2024/25, scoring twice and supplying seven assists. Saka’s 27 key passes and 12 big chances created are both more than any other player in Fantasy and showcase his huge potential for assists.
Luis Diaz (Liverpool) £8.1m, 54pts
Five goals and an assist have helped the Colombian claim three double-figure hauls, already surpassing his total of two from the previous campaign. Diaz is not only the most-bought player in Fantasy, with nearly 3.6million transfers in, he has also risen the most in price, climbing £0.6m since the start of the season.
Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford) £7.5m, 51pts
A flawless home record has been the driving force behind the Brentford talisman’s early-season success. Mbeumo has scored five of his six goals this season at the Gtech Community Stadium, averaging 10.0 points per match across those four appearances.
Erling Haaland (Man City) £15.4m, 67pts
Ten goals over the first seven Gameweeks have made the Manchester City star the most-popular player in Fantasy by some margin, with an ownership of 73 per cent, over 23 per cent more than any other player. Haaland’s 35 shots, 31 shots in the box and 23 shots on target are all league-high totals, suggesting he’s well on his way to a third successive Golden Boot.
Nicolas Jackson (Chelsea) £7.9m, 42pts
Four goals and three assists underline the all-round contribution that has taken the Chelsea star to second place in the forward standings. Jackson’s form has earned him a price rise of £0.4m since Gameweek 1 – equal to Haaland and bettered only by the £0.6m of Diaz and £0.5m of Mbeumo among all players.
