A home match against former club Wolverhampton Wanderers gives Raul Jimenez (£5.8m) the chance to extend his reliable form in Gameweek 12 of Fantasy Premier League.
Fulham forward Jimenez has blanked in only two of his eight starts since securing a place in their first XI in Gameweek 4. Wolves, meanwhile, have conceded 27 goals over the first 11 Gameweeks, five more than any other side.
Jimenez takes his place in a 3-4-3 formation, with Mohamed Salah (£12.9m) handed the armband and Cole Palmer (£10.9m) named vice-captain.
Jordan Pickford (Everton) £4.9m
The Everton No 1 hosts Brentford in his best form of 2024/25. Pickford has produced all three of his clean sheets this season across the last five Gameweeks, conceding only two goals and earning 36 points in Fantasy.
Gabriel (Arsenal) £6.1m
Arsenal’s Brazilian boasts strong potential at home to Nottingham Forest. Gabriel has had 11 shots in the box this season, more than the combined eight of every other Gunners defender.
Ibrahima Konate (Liverpool) £5.4m
A visit to Southampton gives the centre-back an opportunity to continue offering great value as a route into Liverpool’s resilient defence. Konate has collected a clean sheet in five of his 10 starts this season, while he has also made an impact in attack, scoring once and supplying an assist.
Lewis Hall (Newcastle) £4.4m
A cost of only £4.4m makes Newcastle United’s left-back a bargain buy at home to West Ham United. Hall has blanked in just one of the last three Gameweeks, delivering an assist against Chelsea and earning eight points in his last home outing against Arsenal, thanks to a clean sheet and two bonus points.
Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) £12.9m
The Egyptian has established a 23-point lead at the top of the player standings, with seven double-figure hauls and a mere two blanks in 11 appearances for Arne Slot's side. A trip to bottom club Southampton looks hugely encouraging for Salah’s prospects of yet another big return and earns him the armband for Gameweek 12.
Cole Palmer (Chelsea) £10.9m
Palmer also faces a promoted opponent, when Chelsea visit Leicester City in the Gameweek’s opening fixture, and therefore has to be Salah’s main rival for the captaincy. Leicester have conceded a league-high 144 shots in the box, 23 more than Salah’s opponents Southampton.
Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) £10.1m
The Arsenal winger’s output in home matches suggests he is set to enjoy a successful meeting with Nott'm Forest. Saka has earned 45 of his 67 points at Emirates Stadium this season, with three goals, four assists and only one blank in those five matches.
Antoine Semenyo (AFC Bournemouth) £5.7m
The AFC Bournemouth winger’s totals of 47 shots and 33 shots in the box both rank among the top two players in Fantasy this season. Semenyo enters a home fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion having scored in two of his last three appearances at the Vitality Stadium, including a goal and a 10-point haul against Manchester City in Gameweek 10.
Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) £9.0m
A home encounter with Crystal Palace can help the Aston Villa forward recover from a run of only one goal in his last five matches. Crucially, Watkins’ total of 15 big chances this season - situations where the player is expected to score - is more than TWICE any of his Villa team-mates, with Morgan Rogers (£5.4m) his nearest rival, on seven.
Alexander Isak (Newcastle) £8.5m
The Newcastle star is the most-bought forward in the Gameweek, earning over 226,000 new owners. Isak hosts West Ham in his best form of the campaign, scoring in three successive Gameweeks - and also supplying an assist - to collect 26 points.
Raul Jimenez (Fulham) £5.8m
Jimenez has had four big chances and created a further five over the last six Gameweeks, which gives him a combined total of nine big-chance involvements. That places the Fulham forward joint-top with Erling Haaland (£15.2m) among forwards during that spell.
