Claudio Ranieri can crown a thrilling Barclays Premier League title success with his 100th win in England's top flight when Leicester City travel to his former club Chelsea on the final day of the season.

Ranieri has added 23 wins this term to the 76 Barclays Premier League victories he picked up as Blues manager, with Sunday's opponents forced to hand over their crown to his high-flying Foxes.

"He has given the players a belief that they didn't have last season. There is a togetherness in the squad that I haven't seen for years."

Wes Morgan can also grab a place in the BPL record books if he completes 90 minutes at Stamford Bridge this weekend. If the visiting captain manages to do so he will become just the third outfield player to play every minute of a title-winning campaign after Garry Pallister and John Terry, in 1992/93 and 2014/15 respectively.

Leicester Celebrate
Leicester have shocked the footballing world this season, winning their first Premier League title

Leicester will end the season with the most points away from home (38, or more) no matter what the result, with the newly crowned champions suffering only two defeats on their travels all term.

Conversely, Chelsea have won only five matches at Stamford Bridge in the league in 2015/16, against the current bottom four and Arsenal, but Guus Hiddink's side will be buoyed by Leicester's BPL record on past final days.

Ranieri needs to overturn Leicester's poor run in season finales in order to triumph at his former stomping ground and reach triple figures in terms of managerial victories. His side has won only one of seven away fixtures on the last day of a BPL campaign.

But a 2-1 win in the reverse fixture, which proved Jose Mourinho's last for Chelsea, should give the title winners enough confidence to make yet more history at the home of last year's champions.

Chelsea v Leicester City kicks off at 3pm BST on Sunday 15 May.
