1994: Liverpool 3-3 Manchester United
Liverpool overcame a disastrous start to complete one of the great Premier League comebacks, fighting back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 with league leaders Manchester United at Anfield.
The away side were three goals up after 24 minutes thanks to Steve Bruce, Ryan Giggs and Denis Irwin. But Nigel Clough hit back twice before half-time, and Neil Ruddock scored a 79th-minute equaliser.
United remained top, with a healthy 13-point lead, but second-placed Blackburn Rovers had two matches in hand. Liverpool sat in eighth position with 37 points.
2012: Newcastle United 3-0 Manchester United
Manchester United suffered a blow in their title quest as they were beaten by Newcastle United at St James’ Park.
Demba Ba scored his 15th goal of the season with a brilliant first-time finish and Yohan Cabaye doubled the lead with a 30-yard free-kick.
Phil Jones' late own goal compounded a miserable night for Sir Alex Ferguson's second-placed side, who slipped three points behind leaders Manchester City.
Newcastle remained seventh but moved to 33 points, four points outside the top four.
