2011: Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll join Liverpool
Liverpool completed the deadline-day signings of strikers Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll, while Fernando Torres left Anfield and moved to Chelsea.
Suarez, who arrived from Ajax and was handed the No 7 shirt, went on to score 69 goals and set up a further 23 in 110 Premier League matches for Liverpool.
Carroll arrived from Newcastle United, taking the No 9 shirt, and netted six times in 44 PL appearances for the club.
2014: Joe Ledley joins Crystal Palace
Combative midfielder Joe Ledley moved to Crystal Palace from Celtic.
Ledley was handed the No 28 shirt and scored on his debut in a 3-1 win over West Bromwich Albion.
He left the club in 2017 after making 83 Premier League appearances for Palace and netting six goals.
