As a creative playmaker, not much gives Cesc Fabregas more satisfaction than setting up a goal.
The Spaniard's 111 assists make him the second-highest assist maker in Premier League history, behind only Ryan Giggs.
"Since I was very young, assisting and creating chances for my team-mates has been what I've done best," says Fabregas.
But something he perhaps does not get enough credit for is his ability to score goals.
The current Chelsea and former Arsenal midfielder has amassed 50 in the competition, even if he has only been able to celebrate 49.
"I remember [my first goal]," says Fabregas, speaking after being honoured with a Premier League Milestone award, for reaching 50 goals.
"It was from a corner. I think Gilberto Silva headed it into the goal, and I was just there, doing I don't know what.
"At the beginning I didn't know if I'd touched it when it had already crossed the line or not. So every one was going to Gilberto to celebrate!
"But then at the end of the game they told me it was my goal so I was happy.
"It's a nice mark, 50 Premier League goals. I'm very proud of it and hopefully there are a few more to come."
